Directions for Use:

Dosages may be administered once a day or split and provided twice daily. Sprinkle product onto any Canine diet. Mix in or moisten to make a tasty, protein rich broth. To assure freshness and avoid settling, shake periodically, keep sealed, and store in a cool, dry place.

Whenever introducing a new Veterinary Health Supplement to a dog, it is always best to start with half the recommended dosage for the first week.

Canine ProBalance is a 100% highly concentrated powder, which provides twice the value of capsules, pills or chewable products that require as much as 50% inactive fillers and binders. For low level performance the standard daily dose should be sufficient. For higher levels of performance and stress, doubling the daily dose may be the solution. The length and severity of any injury or illness may require three to four times the daily dose.

Injured & Recovering Dogs

ProBalance has clinically proven itself to be helpful over the past 40 years for illness, injury or surgical recovery and, more recently has been used in patients receiving chemo or radiation therapy to maintain weight, improve cellular antioxidant production and assist in enhancing the innate immune system.

In a study conducted at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine, the combination of ingredients in ProBalance were shown to maintain nitrogen equilibrium (no protein loss), reduce muscle atrophy, strengthen wound healing, and shorten recovery time following a major surgical procedure. For this study, ProBalance was mixed with water and tube fed three times daily prior to and for 14 days after the surgical procedure. Instructing clients on how to syringe a mixture of ProBalance and warm water directly into their dog’s mouth when they are anorexic can be helpful. If a dog is drinking freely, have them mix the daily dose into their drinking water. If a dog is eating, ProBalance can be sprinkled onto or mixed into either dry or wet types of food. Pregnant & Lactating Dogs
